Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s Educational Journey

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s educational journey shows his determination and love for learning. He was born in Rameswaram and started school at the local Panchayat Elementary School, where his interest in science and math began. He continued his studies at Schwartz Higher Secondary School while helping his family by selling newspapers. Kalam went on to St. Joseph’s College in Tiruchirappalli, where he earned a degree in Physics. He then enrolled in the Madras Institute of Technology to study Aeronautical Engineering. His hard work in academics prepared him for a remarkable career as a scientist and one of India’s most inspiring leaders.
